Riley was pretty bummed that it didn't snow on or before Christmas day, as if it was a deadline. So when it snowed a few days later, she was pleasantly surprised "Oh, it can snow AFTER Christmas."

It wasn't much snow at first, but the 2nd day of snow gave a good covering and Michael and his brother Steven, cleared the driveway and surrounding area of snow to make a good ramp, jump included. Here's a few videos of how our family enjoyed the snow.
Riley couldn't get enough...

even eating snow, after every run.

Emma, on the other hand...
sometimes she's as tough as a tank and very adventurous, sometimes....not.
don't worry--she's not forever traumatized by that event. Right now Emma is asking to play in the snow (which there isn't any) and she wants to watch the video over and over again, "the one that I cried"
When we weren't outside, we were inside playing games, watching the girls play with toys, or our favorite: watching them and their dance moves.
We finished up our trip by ringing in the New Year.

Welcome 2010!
