Memorable

Memorial Day with family was fabulous. We spent a lot of time enjoying all of Michael's family and the sun.

Emma was really hesitant of the water, at first,

but not Riley, she just couldn't get enough of the pool!

but with the help of aunts & uncles, Emma came around

until she was just chillin' in the water.

Meredith and Steven introduced us to a new game, and now we're hooked!

the first round that night, Michael and I won by a long shot, but thoroughly lost after that. For some reason it didn't feel as photo-worthy later on.
We all enjoyed being together, especially our girls who LOVE playing with their aunts and uncles, and of course the grandparents. Thanks for a fun weekend Maxfields!

how was your mother's day weekend?

ours was fabulous!Emma gets subdued and little extra snuggley in her life jacket.

Is it because it feels like a strait jacket? or because she bonked her head by falling face first immediately after putting it on because she couldn't reach forward to catch herself because of the jacket?

We had fabulous food, gifts and most of all, company. All of my family was together and that is always a treat.
We got to wander around my parents future home, which is currently under construction, and going to be soo cool. They are even putting a play house out back for the grandkids.

I lover her whispered 'roar.' She always does it at that volume. It cracks me up!

journey to tulips

we finally made it to the Tulip festival for the first time and loved it. They extended the festival in May so we were able to go the very last weekend. We went a little picture crazy.
