our version of march madness

March felt a little like madness for our family, but full of good times. Mike had a 3 week rotation in WallaWalla, so we sought a little help from the grandparents and got spoiled rotten. Luckily we got to see him each weekend in Tri-Cities.

we celebrated Mike's birthday with ice cream cake and bowling!

Riley's first time and she LOVED it. we had a blast

visited the ponies at grandma's neighbor.

the girls were fascinated with them and liked feeding them apples (with a little help from mom to keep those little fingers out of the way)

We even got treated to a night away and left the kids with the grandparents. All in all, we survived march with all it's madness, thanks to all the help from our parents. Thanks for all you do when we need you --which is often!

a beautiful day

This spring in Seattle has been extremely mild, with tulips and trees blooming early. Luckily a beautiful day coincided with a day that Mike's parents came to town.

We decided to enjoy a some time along the waterfront.

After lunch at our favorite fish & chips place we got ice. Riley is loving her cotton candy flavor.

We enjoyed the blue skies & blue water

grandma and grandpa spoiled us rotten all day -- even a ride on the carosel
